True South Solar is a small but mighty 29-person company based in Ashland in Southern Oregon. 12 years after starting True South Solar, they have provided solar systems to over 1,000 homes in Southern Oregon, including CEO Eric Hansen\u2019s and others within the company. True South Solar started in 2010 out of a home office and storage unit. Eric first learned about renewable energy in 1999 while reading a locally published magazine called Home Power. He ended up working for them, gained hands on experience with solar and from there, decided to attend school for entering into a solar career.
