GRID was founded in 2004 by Erica Mackie and Tim Sears, who developed a model to make solar PV technology accessible for income-qualified communities, while providing pathways to clean energy jobs. Today, GRID serves families throughout California, Colorado, the Mid-Atlantic region, and tribal communities nationwide. Our Energy For All Program offers single-family, multifamily and community solar installation services. We offer multiple levels of workforce development, including volunteerism, solar training, and our SolarCorps fellowship.
