Silfab Solar<\/a> has released its next-generation solar module, ELITE, to installers throughout the United States.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Silfab ELITE uses the company’s proprietary X-pattern technology, which combines an integrated cell design with a conductive backsheet to create a more efficient and powerful solar panel. Silfab ELITE is rated at 410 W and 21.4% efficiency.<\/p>\n

Solar Power World<\/em> checked out the solar panel concept at last year’s RE+ trade show. <\/a>A conductive backsheet is set first, with back-contact solar cells over top that have connecting points specifically placed for the conductive backsheet. There are no busbars, which means fewer chances for microcracking and busbar hotspots. The front of the Silfab module is black, with no interruptions, for incredible aesthetics for residential customers.<\/p>\n
